Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine the importance of character education applied in educational institutions. The character education planting program launched by the government to be implemented through learning in schools prepared by teachers with reference to several components, namely; learning activity strategies that contain good character values ​​in students and the development of school culture that reflects good character. This will affect student outcomes, either partially or completely through learning in the form of knowledge and skills (instructional effect), it also still takes several meetings of subsequent teaching and learning events to further strengthen the results, why the results are called accompaniment impacts. The nurturing effect is in the form of results that are not directly measured and are not certain to be achieved at the end of a teaching and learning event meeting. Outcomes can be in the form of: (1) attitudes and values; (2) the results where students become modeling (can imitate), contagion (infected), osmosis (infiltrated) about the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of learning conditions, both programmed by the teacher and not programmed by the teacher. Abstract

This study describes the role of the youth of Masjid Baiturrahman Desa Sepakek Pringgarata Lombok Tengah in the implementation of character education during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research. Research data was obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this study are data reduction, data display, and verification. For the validity of the data techniques used, namely, increasing persistence, and triangulation. The results of this study indicate that moral education during the Covid-19 pandemic is realized in a container of activities that are regularly arranged such as weekly, monthly, yearly, and conditional-incidental activities. The youth of the Masjid Baiturrahman Desa Sepakek take a significant role in the prosperity of the mosque, the regeneration of the people, and the development of the youth of the mosque.

Abstract

In the era of information system development, it will be seen that the orientation of future education is so fast, so that education management is the most important in education and is also most needed, because the education management information system is a supporting factor for the progress of formal and informal educational institutions so that in an effort to implement an education management information system, it cannot be supported. by the employee's own performance manually. because in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, there have been changes in the education management sports system, more so on the declaration of Society 5.0 as a wide door for the community to solve problems, so that improving the quality and public services related to the management of quality school education information in the service process to the school also needs to This needs to be considered so that it is necessary to apply an education management information system which is one of the important factors in the quality of education and of course also helps all levels of teachers, administrative staff in improving quality in schools, especially the community.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of image media to improve students' ability to recognize hijaiyah letters in grade 1 students at MIN 5 Bima Regency and want to know the effectiveness of using image media to improve students' ability to recognize hijaiyah letters in grade 1 students at MIN 5 Bima Regency. This type of research is classroom action research or what we are familiar with (CAR), which is a systematic study of efforts to improve the implementation of educational practice by a group of teachers by taking actions in learning based on their reflections on the results of these actions. The results of this study are first, the use of image media to improve students' ability to recognize hijaiyah letters in grade 1 students at MIN 5 Bima Regency at this pre-cycle stage researchers will see learning to recognize hijaiyah letters directly in class 1 MIN 5 Bima Regency in recognizing letters. hijaiyah in class I has not used the media actively and is still using the lecture method where students are still not actively involved in learning and passive communication tends to occur. Before using the picture media in recognizing hijaiyah letters (Pre-cycle) in grade 1 at MIN 5 Bima Regency, it can be seen that the ability to read hijaiyah letters in the pre-cycle meeting there were 15 children (75%) who were classified as not yet familiar with hijaiyah letters, 5 children ( 25%) quite familiar with the hijaiyah letters. In the implementation of cycle 1 in class 1, the steps in cycle 1 start from planning, implementing, observing and reflecting without using media. At the stage of cycle 1 that the ability to recognize hijaiyah letters in there are 15 children (75%) who are classified as complete, 5 children (25%) who are classified as incomplete. There is a change from before using and after using the hijaiyah letter image media. In the implementation of cycle 2 in grade 1, the steps in cycle 1 start from planning, implementing, observing and reflecting on the media. At the stage of cycle 2 that the ability to recognize hijaiyah letters in there are 20 children (100%) who are classified as complete, 0 children (0%) are classified as incomplete. Second, the effectiveness of using image media to improve students' ability to recognize hijaiyah letters in grade 1 students at MIN 5 Bima Regency. In the pre-cycle stage, the students still do not actively participate in learning and passive communication tends to occur, at the stage of cycle 1 there is a change from before using and after using image media, and at the stage of cycle 2 that the ability to recognize hijaiyah letters with image media can improve the ability to recognize hijaiyah letters in grade 1 students at MIN 5 Bima Regency.

Abstract

Implementation of an effective, efficient and targeted Islamic education process requires the linkage of several elements such as: adequate educational resources, institutions that play an active role in accommodating, direct and indirect support from government institutions and policies because achieving educational goals requires optimal support from the community. various aspects so that the education process can be carried out in accordance with the objectives of the National Education System Law No. 20 of 2003 article 12 paragraph (1) letter a. Although the emergence of Islamic education actually did not come from power, but from religious teachings which were then judged to be good so that they were applied and became the philosophy of the state. Still, Islamic education is in the grip of power. As in establishing a boarding school or institution, it is required to ask permission from the power. Thus, Islamic education and power cannot be separated because there is an interaction that requires and depends on each other.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to find out how strong the correlations between : teachers' professional competence and student achievement in chemistry, (b) student motivation and student achievement, and (c) teachers' professional competence together with student motivation and student achievement. The population of this study is 3081 of Senior High Schools students (SMA) enrolled in 8 (eight) schools in Mataram. The Sampling in this study is multistage random sampling, acounting 263 studentsas the sample. The single correlation between the results of professional competence of teachers and student achievement, with t count ( 6234 ) > t table (1.651 ) at 5 % significance level. It means that the professional competence of chemitry teachers has a positive and significant relationship toward student achievement. The results of the second single correlation between student motivation and student achievement at the significant level of 5 % , with t count (3976 ) > t table ( 1.651 ). It mean that students' motivation has a positive and significant relationship toward student achievement. The results of multiple correlation between teachers' professional competence and students motivation toward student achievement, with F count ( 22 . 485 ) > F ( 3,031 ) at the 5 % significance level. It means that the professional competence of chemistry teachers and students motivation collectively have a positive relationship and significantly associated with student achievement.

Abstract

Arabic literacy is a necessity that needs to be nurtured from an early age for students, especially among students. As millennials, the better literacy skills they have, the better their academic achievement will be so that they are more ready to answer the challenges of the times. This paper tries to dissect the various strategies that can be done to strengthen Arabic literacy for millennial students who are members of the MTSN 1 Kota Bima Boarding School Program. Through descriptive qualitative research with the case study method, it can be seen that the literacy strengthening program is carried out through habituation, development, and learning activities by combining the intracurricular curriculum and the non-curricular supplement curriculum. Arabic literacy can go hand in hand, reinforce each other with Al-Qur'an literacy and can be developed through digital literacy skills. The obstacle that is still being faced is the perception of the guardians of the students and the learning motivation of the students.
